Living as One Who Is Kept Alive – 1

Published on Updated on

As I spend my days cherishing nature and all living things and recognizing the sacred in myself and others, there are moments when I feel, “In this very moment called now, the past and the future overlap.”

That feeling comes from actually practicing this: in each fleeting instant we think of as now, watching the future once drawn by humanity’s past thoughts take form, appear, and fade away, and, in response, letting my present consciousness clearly recognize the sacred as the essence behind every manifestation, while drawing an ideal future in which absolutely everything is as it should be.

Many people do not think that “both the past and the future exist at the same time within the now.”

When one doesn’t think so, the consciousness simply sends out thoughts swayed by phenomena.

That can be called “a state in which one’s thoughts are simply being swept along.”

As I always say, unless we go through the process of handling consciousness consciously, the evolution of humanity’s consciousness will never come about.

Human beings evolving their consciousness is the key to opening a bright future for Earth.

And yet, only a very small number of Earth’s people have begun the effort to update their habits of thought.

Among Cosmic Humanity, there are those who are quietly watching, saying, “That too is the choice of the people of Earth, so all we can do is watch over them.”

Many of Earth’s people are convinced that “today is a continuation of yesterday, and tomorrow will come just like today,” but to tell the truth, the very existence of this day is a miracle.

That you can live now is by no means something to be taken for granted.

That is something you can’t even imagine without the perspective that “we are being kept alive by the blessings of all sorts of beings.”

To begin with the most basic point, there is “the fact that we can be alive at all.”

No one moves their own heart or pushes their blood along by their own power.

Breathing, too, isn’t something we do by thinking “I’ll breathe”; we breathe out and in naturally.

Digesting what we eat, taking it in and putting it to use as nourishment, and excreting what isn’t needed are also the work of our cells, not something we are doing.

When you think about such things, the correct answer is that the true reality of human existence is not “living by our own power” but “being kept alive by the power of life.”
