The Mindset for Building a New World – 4

To Clearly Recognize the Divinity Within Everything
Earlier I said, “It is good to turn the feelings you have about the outer world back toward yourself and harmonize the plus and minus of your thoughts.” Let me dig a little deeper into that.
As I always say, human beings live holding a hundred different impressions from a hundred different people about things outside the physical body: the state of society, the words and deeds of others, the natural world, and the way all living things are.
As I have written before, you can see this from the example of a scene where three people, A, B, and C, share their impressions of a person called D, and each holds a different impression: “likable,” “neither here nor there,” and “not likable.”
The point is that “we are looking at our own inner selves reflected in the mirror called other people,” and we cannot feel anything whose cause is not in ourselves.
Feeling something means the cause of feeling that way is within you.
And what is important is this: when you hold that feeling, if some snag arises in your heart, or emotional thoughts stir, and an afterimage of a lump remains in your heart, that means “a related state of disharmony has been left untouched within you.”
By returning that state of disharmony to a state of harmony, you no longer hold negative impressions of the world or other people.
That means you can clearly recognize the divinity within everything.
Because there were few people in the world to teach this important fact, many people thought about things by shifting responsibility onto others, or felt as if they had no responsibility at all.

Grasping Your Own Path
Introspective people, if they put their hearts in order with this method, will surely draw closer to a state of mind without attachment.
There are people of all kinds of natures in the world.
That is why many different methods have been put forward for returning to the divinity that is one’s essence.
In short, you need only remember your divine self through a method that suits you.
On any path, the first step begins with imitation.
There are various forms for mastering any path.
Among those various forms, when you grasp one that makes you think, “This is it!”, trace it.
Whether drawing pictures, playing an instrument, or singing songs, everything begins with imitating others.
Learning the theory is also important, but that alone makes it hard to change yourself.
If it doesn’t go well, you can simply look for a different method, so if you sense intuitively that “this method might be good,” please give it a try.
Every person, whoever they are, is originally a divine being.
Even in someone who is living now in a state like a villain, there is divinity.
Life, including the time in the other world, has been a journey back to that.
The age has come when everyone can clearly remember this, so please choose, without hesitation, to draw closer to your own roots.
At that moment, your Guardian Deities and Spirits will surely give you even greater power (courage and the drive to act).
(The End)
