What Can We Leave to the Children Who Will Live in the Future?

We need to stop here once more and deepen our reflection on the kind of future we want for Earth.

If we are preoccupied with just getting by and pursue only our own satisfaction and our family’s happiness, the sacred “essence of life” within us stays asleep, and the power to open this star’s future becomes hard to bring forth.

Not only the older generation, but also the working generation, who work within society and live with some connection to the world, great or small, whether or not they have children of their own, will someday have to pass the baton to the children who will carry on Earth’s future.

When we leave our physical lives and return to the other world, wouldn’t everyone wish to hand the children a star that is as good a place to live as possible?

That very wish becomes a great reason for us to start moving now.

In that sense, taking some kind of action now for Earth’s future is perfectly reasonable.

Then what kind of action is best to take?

Throwing ourselves into “dualistic, oppositional activities” that stir up feelings of for and against in people’s hearts?

Thinking and acting as if “it’s enough if only I and those close to me are saved”?

Each of those comes from its own feelings, but bringing harmony to the whole requires an even larger perspective.

Our human hearts originally hold a spirituality that feels supreme joy in our own existence being of use to the whole.

Thinking along these lines, working for great harmony can be said to be the very action we should take.

When we focus our consciousness there, there is nothing strange at all about acting so that a world where humanity, nature, and all living things can live happily and in harmony comes as soon as possible.

The Divine Spark IN Brings Harmony to Everything

The way to realize that from the ground up is “the Divine Spark IN.”

Through this IN, Earth’s humanity can achieve the revival of the sacred without severe austerities.

Through this IN, we can breathe the breath of healing and regeneration into the natural world that humans have wounded and polluted.

Through this IN, we can provide nourishment that makes coexistence and living together possible, beyond the hierarchy of the strong eating the weak, to the genes of all the living things that humans have exploited, driven away, and are pushing toward extinction.

Bears coming down into human settlements and sometimes attacking people is a phenomenon that results from humanity pushing ahead with developing nature purely for its own convenience and encroaching on their territory, so that they come seeking food in human dwellings in order to survive.

They are originally timid animals, and if they have a place where they can live, they don’t kill except to fill their need for food.

They attack people because they are afraid of humans, and we have entered a time to fundamentally rethink the way of developing nature that drove them to do so.

By rethinking the way we have been, humans can draw closer to a future in which both people and animals can live in peace.

We, Earth’s humanity, are now living at a turning point where we have no choice but to change our way of living.

“People of Earth, rise now! If not now, when will you ever rise?”

Right now, from deep within the hearts of all human beings, a silent broadcast from the great source of life, urging such an awakening, is resounding.
