Living as One Who Is Kept Alive – 3

(Continued from last time)

Last time I wrote that within each human being dwells the power to harmonize everything, and that the basic recognition for mastering it is “to be aware that we are living as ones who are kept alive.”

However, that explanation alone expresses only part of the true reality of human beings, so let me add to it here.

I always tell the people around me this:

“At least once a day, ask yourself, ‘Who am I?'”

Why do I tell them this? Because no matter how many lectures you receive from others about the essence of your own life, as long as you recognize other people’s experiences as other people’s words, you cannot grasp the true reality.

That goes for anyone at all.

The truth about yourself can only be known from within. (You could also say, only through your own experience.)

And since stopping there would be unkind, let me also share a way to sublimate other people’s experiences into your own experience.

It is to speak the words another person has spoken, or the sentences they have written, as your own words, or to copy them out many times.

And what comes next is important: please forget about it for a while.

Why is it good to forget? To allow a period of fermentation in your heart.

A week, half a month, a month, or perhaps half a year or a year; the period differs depending on the content, but if the fermented words (another person’s experience) are something needed to bring your life fully alive, a time will surely come when they shine out (in Japanese, “fermenting” and “shining” are both pronounced “hakkō”) as your own inspiration, in your own words.

Sometimes they flash as words themselves, and sometimes you feel them as a realization that comes with your own experience.

With that fact in mind, please read what follows.

Human beings are originally living beings who hold, in the innermost depths of life, the original consciousness that created the universe.

It is said that there are between 3 million and 111 million species of living things on this Earth, but humanity is the only living thing with the wisdom and creative power directly connected to the source of life that created and runs the universe.

Whether they knew it or not, people of old referred to humanity as “the lord of all creation,” and humanity truly is the lord of all creation.

However, humanity’s way of living and being up to now had not yet fully expressed that original form.

Yet its essence is that of beings with the mission of creating and manifesting on the planet where they are registered a world of great harmony, the ideal of the creator of the universe.

Religious people referred to this by calling human beings children of the Buddha or children of God, and the reason so few people expressed that essence is that the time had not yet come.

But now it is different.

The time has come to remember that fact.

No, the time has come when anyone can remember that fact.
