Let’s come into harmony with the power of life
Truly, once you’ve decided to evolve your consciousness, you must wash your habits of thought clean from the root and overwrite and save them with ones rooted in divinity.
Start with gratitude to your body.
Without your asking, “Please keep beating,” your heart keeps beating and circulating your blood, doesn’t it?
Without thinking, “Let’s breathe in, let’s breathe out,” you breathe naturally, don’t you?
Without being conscious of “first right, then left, then right,” your legs walk on their own, don’t they?
Watching from the sky within, we see that many people on Earth still tend to forget to be grateful for such amazing workings of the physical body.
And once you’ve practiced gratitude to your body until it never leaves your heart—a state where you never need to remember it because you never forget it—next, turn your eyes to the source of the power that moves your body.
What is the power that makes your heart beat and circulates your blood?
What is the power that makes you breathe without your being conscious of breathing?
What is the power that makes you walk without your thinking about anything?
Think, “Why? How? What on earth is this power?”

If you thought, “It’s the power and working of nature,” you’re just one step away.
If you could think, “It’s the power of God,” or “It’s thanks to the Buddha,” that’s good too.
And if you can’t figure it out however much you think, it’s good to think, “It’s the power of life.”
The power of life is amazing.
The land you stand on, the towering mountains, the rivers flowing from the mountains, the vast, vast sea, the circulation of water on Earth, the atmosphere containing oxygen and the other elements essential for keeping the body alive, the wind that circulates the air and keeps it from stagnating, the moon closely connected with the Earth’s water, the sun that keeps all living things alive and nurtures them.
All of it, every bit, is made of the power of life—the figure of the power of life at work.
Insects and birds flying in the sky, fish, shellfish, and mammals in the water, insects and microorganisms in the soil, and every kind of animal and plant on the land—what creates and keeps alive all life forms other than humanity… that is the light and the power of life.
And this life keeps you, humanity, alive too.
The stars, the nature in their heavens and earths, and every living being that exists there—every last one of them is given birth, nurtured, and kept alive by the power of life. (To be continued next time)
