Individual Happiness and the Evolution of the Earth (Part 1)

★What divides happiness from unhappiness
The more you think, “I’m not happy now, so I want to become happy from here on,” the more it’s good to learn the truth of life eagerly.
Then you’ll understand that what divides happiness from unhappiness is how you use your thoughts “now,” and you’ll change your habits of thought and grasp true happiness.
Why does learning the truth of life let you understand that the cause dividing happiness from unhappiness lies in how you use your thoughts “now”? Because at the source of life, everyone is a divine being—a being of light lacking nothing at all.
When you understand that your true body lies in divinity, you naturally come to see that the thoughts you’ve sent out until now were sent out in a state that had forgotten divinity.
As we always say, the structure of the human body—or rather of life—seen from the side of the physical body, is a state in which life has entered a physical body. But peel back one layer and look deeper, and there is an astral body, and you are living there too; peel back another layer and look deeper, and there is a spirit body, and you are living there too; peel back yet another layer and look deeper, and there is a divine body, and there too your self undeniably exists; and look at still deeper dimensions, and you arrive back at infinite consciousness as a body of light spreading throughout the universe.
And when the dimension your consciousness stands on deepens to the spirituality of the divine body, you become aware of yourself as living, from the very start, at the source of infinite happiness, where there is neither happiness nor unhappiness.
When you unravel the independence of the soul—the mission shared by all of Earth’s humanity in the 21st century—you arrive at the truth that it meant your surface consciousness deepening all the way to the dimension of the divine body.
What kind of self is the divine-body self? It’s a consciousness that is infinitely deep in love and absolutely incapable of hurting or belittling others.
And what’s more, it neither envies nor looks down on others, and has no separated thinking that sees self and others as separate beings, so as a matter of course others’ happiness is its own happiness, and its own happiness is directly linked to others’ happiness.
So it doesn’t fight with anyone, nor does it swing between joy and sorrow by ranking itself and others.

★Everyone has divine consciousness
The original consciousness of human beings in the divine world lives in the utopian world you call oneness. Each person sees themselves and nature, themselves and all living things, themselves and others as one life, and has a consciousness that contributes to the harmony of the whole world by fulfilling their own part.
That lies deep within everyone’s consciousness.
Search anywhere in the universe and you won’t find a human being without divine consciousness.
In people who have committed crimes and keep repeating them, in people who try to fulfill their own desires by forcing others under their heel, in people who belong to terrorist groups and scatter an ominous atmosphere across the world, even in murderers like demons—the light of divinity dwells within.
And of course in people whose everyday consciousness is swallowed by the rough waves of emotional thought, convinced that they want to be happy but can’t.
Once you understand this, anyone can see that how they use their consciousness now is what really mattered. So they can no longer use their consciousness the way they did before, swept along unconsciously; they come to have the spirituality of the spirit realm, using consciousness consciously, and eventually reach the consciousness of the divine realm.
For that—as we say every time—it’s important to keep your breathing deep.
It is precisely beyond—or rather, deep within—deep breathing that divine consciousness, the heart of the divine body, lies.
Living while repeating deep breathing every day, all day long, is the ABC of the ABCs of the evolution of consciousness.
That’s why we always say, “Please breathe slowly and calmly.”
It seems few people make it a habit, but it’s important to resolve, “I’m going to make deep breathing my own with all my life,” and put it into practice.
Because the future of the Earth depends on the evolution of your consciousness. (To be continued next time)
