★Each Person’s Destiny and the Authority of Life

Human beings are reborn in truly all sorts of ways. You can look at them in broad categories, but if you look at each person’s way of being, no two people take the same form.

And everyone lives without knowing what Earth’s destiny will be tomorrow, right?

Not knowing might seem at first glance like a cause for worry, but you could say that’s exactly what makes life interesting.

Even when you watch a movie, if you knew every twist along the way or the ending from the start, you couldn’t enjoy it from the heart, could you?

Speaking of the future in broad terms, it has already been decided that in the near future Earth will surely change greatly, becoming a society with a civilization that has become divine-spirit in nature, achieving communion with the stars of the universe, and through that, going on to evolve even further.

But how exactly that will happen is fluid, and we can’t say that it will definitely happen a certain way in such-and-such year, month, day, hour, minute, and second.

That’s because what leads the destiny of the Earth world is, after all, the consciousness of Earth’s humanity, and the law of the universe does not allow the gods of the divine world or evolved divine beings from other stars to step in and meddle with it as they please.

We sometimes talk about the authority of life, don’t we?

That is something every member of the human species has, and no one else can violate it.

★There Is No Way Other Than Saving Yourself

So when someone sees people who are struggling or suffering, people who are sick or living in poverty, and wants to do something for them, wants to help them, and reaches out a helping hand, even if that only resolves their troubles, eases their suffering, improves their illness, or lifts them out of poverty for a time, it is still a very precious thing. And on top of that, it’s the awakening of that person’s own light of life that leads to lasting salvation.

Why? Because a person’s suffering is also deeply connected to the way they think, and as their consciousness changes from within, they can avoid repeating similar hardships. This isn’t a talk meant to blame people who are suffering.

It’s because an improvement brought about by someone else wasn’t achieved through the person’s own effort and dedication; it’s a limited gift of happiness given from outside. So if the person’s thoughts remain unchanged, they may sometimes return to a similar situation again.

It might be easy to understand if you look at efforts to help people with gambling addiction.

Simply covering their debts with money rarely becomes a fundamental solution, and professional support such as counseling bears even greater fruit when it’s joined with the person’s own wish to work on it themselves.

As we always say, the only one who can truly save a person is that person themselves.

The support of the people around them truly comes alive when it resonates with the person’s own power to change from within. (To be continued)
