★To Develop the Giving Consciousness That Lies Deeper Than the Thoughts That Seek

You’re perceptive, so I suppose something has flashed to you by now.

Yes: what makes humans different from other living things is that behind the self that is manifested, there is a self that is doing the manifesting.

So people seek love, and at the same time are also the ones who give love.

But on earth, because many people had for a while forgotten this giving side of consciousness, it had become a world where, even when the body grew up into an adult, the core of the spirit (the soul) had not yet fully grown, and the wish to have others do things for you tended to be stronger.

What we mean here by “doing for others” is giving love, accepting, embracing: the working of the heart that loves and acknowledges self and others.

If you compare this working to the plants blooming in the fields and the ways of the natural world, the acknowledging consciousness, the working of love, is the earth itself, the nutrients in the soil, the air, the water, the sunlight, and the wind and insects that carry pollen.

Human love is originally in no way inferior to this love expressed throughout the natural world. It is the supreme and greatest energy, which gives life to all people and to the utmost to everything in the natural world and all living things.

People, no, not only people but all things, are generated and nurtured by the love of heaven and earth. What is born grows, whether its self-awareness is strong or weak, maintains its existence, and when it has finished fulfilling its mission, returns to the spiritual dimension. That’s how it’s set up.

So in the childhood of the soul, thinking “I want to be loved” or “I want to be acknowledged” (the desire for recognition, the need for approval) is not necessarily bad in itself.

I said a moment ago that the starting point from which that thought is sent out and the angle and direction it should head in are mistaken, which leads to the result of not being acknowledged even though you want to be. Whether a person’s aspiration gains momentum as they aim for the evolution of consciousness, whether they can revive their self-confidence by their own will and return to the consciousness of self-divinity, depends on whether they set right the starting point from which this “I want to be acknowledged” is sent out and the angle and direction it should head in.

Today I’m talking at length, using all sorts of words, because I want you to grasp this principle firmly, climb out of the swamp of unfulfilled dissatisfaction and lack, and master a way of using your consciousness that perceives at the same time the self that is fulfilled and the self that fulfills.
