★Intelligence: The Infinite Ability Human Beings Have

Today, let’s talk about “intelligence,” which is essential when talking about “divinity.”

The word “intelligence” is generally used for being smart, or for the talent by which you can use the brain effectively, right?

The working of this intelligence is originally a part of the working of divinity, part of the gifts that are indispensable for a person’s evolution of consciousness.

First of all, when they are born into physical bodies, most people enter the body in a state of zero, reset of all abilities including intelligence, and then life begins, right? (In Japanese, “zero” can be read “rei,” which also means “spirit.”)

Then, for the first year or two, in a sense without borrowing anyone’s power, they dig up intelligence, their heaven-given talent, from the strata of the soul, learn words, and put them to full use in creating a life in the phenomenal world.

In many cases, parents help them bring out that power during that time, but in the sight of a baby learning words, you catch a glimpse of the infinite ability human beings have, and many parents can’t help but marvel at the speed of that rapid growth.

This is true of everyone, and seen from that side, you could say intelligence is an innate quality that dwells equally in all of humanity.

But in reality, how it shows up differs from person to person, so it can hardly be called equal.

And for those who got off to a late start, it’s meant to be developed through their own later effort.

★Intelligence Made of the Power to Perceive and the Power to Express

This means that intelligence is an innate quality and, at the same time, a quality that can be developed later.

If you practice thoughts, words, and deeds that activate intelligence, then, apart from cases like being born with a heavy disability of heart or body, anyone can polish their intelligence until it shines and put it to use in life.

The way this works is somehow similar to the way destiny works.

Everyone is born with an innately set destiny, but depending on how they use the intelligence they have after birth, they can turn even an unfortunate environment of destiny into the height of happiness, right?

And here’s the important part: people who can merge their innate intelligence with their acquired intelligence in this way and put it to use in life share a certain common feature.

It’s that they skillfully use both of two abilities: perception and expression.

Some people can’t do either perception or expression well, and some can perceive well but can’t express it well.

But people who can’t perceive well in the first place can’t express well either.

That’s why we always talk about the importance of the power of perception, but when it comes to intelligence, the power of perception and the power of expression are two sides of one coin, and if you separate them, they won’t work as intelligence. (To be continued)
