Let’s Get Through the Remaining Four Months — To Save All Living Things and All of Nature Aboard a Modern-Day Noah’s Ark (Part 2)

★Let’s give out the light of life to the natural world and to humanity

The past few decades have been a turbulent period too, but in the last few years the Earth has already entered a period of even more drastic change.

Recently, the time has finally come when many people can feel that fact.

So when people notice that “something out of the ordinary is happening,” some may take that change anxiously, and their hearts may be shaken.

Because a heart that is completely convinced the physical body is who we are can only sense very shallow, surface-level changes. It can only see the side that seems to be getting worse, and in the face of the surface changes, fluctuations, shifts, and perishing of the visible phenomenal world, anxiety and fear take the lead and dominate, and consciousness gets swept up in the whirlpool of emotional thought.

Giving out the light of life again and again, to remind the hearts of people caught in such vicious circles of hope for the future, is your daily spiritual work (divine work).

The fury of nature destroys your living environment every year, doesn’t it?

You’ve heard the words “the first time since records began” many times this year alone.

And many people are actually in the midst of terrible suffering.

But water, fire, wind, and the land never have any intention of making living things suffer.

Nature doesn’t have the slightest thought of “let’s be mean.” But we see that the disorder in the thoughts of humanity as a whole can affect the workings of nature too. That, though, is not meant to blame the people who have suffered from disasters.

So the wind, the rain, and the land are shedding tears as they rage.

The air, the water, and the mountains are all crying.

It’s partly because it hurts to be harmed by humanity, but also because, though they don’t want to harm anyone, they have been made to bear the painful role of bringing hardship to the living things that live between heaven and earth.

★Before the reality created by Earth’s humanity

Now is the time for humanity to renew its heart, apologize to all the workings of nature for the destruction and pollution humanity has caused until now, and offer heartfelt gratitude for the fact that we are kept alive by everything in the natural world.

Doing so becomes a power that repairs the wounds of the natural world, thins out its pollution, and stops humanity from continuing reckless development as if it owned everything, or from pouring out pollutants.

So let us say it again: we see that behind things like violent storms and great earthquakes lies not only mere natural phenomena, but also, overlapping them, the figure of the karmic thoughts of all humanity accumulated between the Earth’s heaven and earth fading away. That is not meant to blame each person who has suffered from disasters.

And that’s exactly why it’s also something that can be softened by the thoughts of all humanity.

As humanity’s karma crumbles, nature makes movements that aren’t normal.

That energy sometimes appears as great forces of nature.

That is the truth of natural disasters.

When they meet such fury of nature, many people who have suffered, in deep sorrow and helplessness, grieve over what they had built up being torn apart, or over the lives of loved ones being called up to heaven, and can only stand helplessly looking at the scars left by nature’s fury. Others bravely face the hardship and fight on. But few step back and look calmly, from the viewpoint of the principles of life, at why such phenomena are happening and what can be done to settle such situations, and take measures that turn things around fundamentally.

Among people who have come into contact with spiritualism, some seem to accept it by thinking, “It’s a great cleaning for the Earth to be reborn,” or “It’s Armageddon,” or “It’s nature’s revenge on humanity.” But to tell the truth, none of these is correct.

Some come a little close, but none of the ones we just mentioned are words that reflect the truth as it is.

The real answer is: “a reality created by the thoughts, words, and deeds of Earth’s humanity.”

Do you think that’s too blunt?

But this isn’t said to blame anyone—it means that precisely because of this, humanity can change the future together through our thoughts. (To be continued next time)
