How to Let Go of Memories and Open Up the Future – 3

(Continued from last time)
A Human Being Is Not the Physical Body but the Light Wave That Moves It
Now, with what we’ve talked about so far, has the mindset (the foundational recognition) for letting go of memories and opening up the future taken firm shape?
The foundational recognition is this: “memory is merely data, not your real self.”
Expanding from there, it follows that “a human being is not the physical body itself, but a being of light waves that boards the physical body as a vehicle and pilots it.”
If there’s anyone who thinks, “What nonsense are you talking about?”, then after thoughtfully surveying the life of a single human being (from birth into the physical body until the time of the shift of consciousness to another vibrational sphere, called death) in various cases, ask yourself: “What is life? What kind of state is being alive?”
When a person dies, what happens to their physical body?
The breath stops, the heart stops, and blood flow stops.
Consciousness, too, except in a very few cases (*1), generally doesn’t return to that body. (*1 A human being who has once died, or come into a similar state, regaining life. These phenomena are collectively called resuscitation.)
Before long, the human body its master has left simply decays.
In special environments it may become mummified, but usually the physical cells that wrapped around the bones vanish without a trace and it becomes a skeleton; that’s the way of the world, right?
Even those bones, after thousands or tens of thousands of years, return to the elements.
What can you see from that fact?

The Power That Moves the Human Body
No matter who denies it, by whatever reasoning, thinking “I don’t want to accept it,” it’s a clear fact that “some kind of power that moves the physical body” is at work inside the body and moving the human being, right?
Being alive is “Yes, that’s right!” only when the power that moves is inside.
That isn’t only true for humans. It’s true for every living thing.
We always call that “power that moves” “the light of life.”
On Earth, it’s recognized in the various expressions of various countries and regions as a power that comes from something like God or Buddha.
Consciousness is the center of that power that moves, and if you compared it to a computer or smartphone, it would correspond to the “CPU.”
And memory is the “various data files” stored there, while the latent memories involved in sustaining life correspond to “memory” in the computer sense.
You could say the human body is “a super-high-performance computer, more sophisticated than any PC,” created by the universe.
For a PC or smartphone, the electricity stored in the battery is the power that moves it.
For the physical body, the light of life, the soul, corresponds to that.
And what governs that power that moves is consciousness.
Memory is stored data that consciousness uses, and it is by no means the true body of a human being itself.
Truly taking that to heart and understanding it is the precondition for moving on to the next talk.
So please read yesterday’s talk carefully once more and become able to see memory and yourself as separate.
