On Living with Divinity Shining Through (Part 1)

★The Divine Is Not Silent

“If there really were gods and buddhas in this universe, they could just change everyone’s consciousness in a flash, and this world would be at peace right away…”

Do you remember?

These words were a question you vaguely held when you were a boy.

You probably never think such things now, but in the present material world there are people who think the same way you did in the past, and similar anguished thoughts are still piling up heap upon heap.

Why do you think people who think that way, though good in nature, can’t actively create a harmonious reality themselves and live with their hearts and bodies in relatively unhappy circumstances?

It’s because they don’t acknowledge the divinity that has been within themselves from the beginning.

Such people don’t know the truth that the power of the divine is something humanity is meant to show.

Thoughts wishing for miracles in which something other than humanity lends its power do actually reach the divine, but they never become reality.

Because the vibrations are far too different.

So how does what you call the divine lend a hand to Earth’s humanity? It works as the inner divinity within the structure of your life, guiding each of you to awaken to truth and live according to the cosmic law of harmony.

They don’t know that, and can’t believe it either, so the truth and wisdom of the universe don’t well up from within them. Without even being able to picture what to do and how, they’re simply living in a state of running around in confusion while holding on as best they can.

So you, who have come this far and taken hold of what is true, are fortunate.

Because even without thinking especially about the divine, by living with the heart of your Higher Self as your own heart, you are showing divine consciousness, and that is nothing other than living with the power of the divine expressed in yourself.

So there’s no need to feel helpless as if prayers don’t get through, like in the question at the beginning, and in actual fact the divine is not silent either.

What’s important is that you yourselves are the vessels that express the power of the divine on earth.

Let’s see, for people who tend to think of the divine and humans as separate, it might be good to stop thinking of the divine as a being for a moment and see it as a working instead.

The working of the divine is the power that gives being to everything on Earth, but its use has been entrusted to Earth’s humanity, right?

So if you put the working of the divine, which has graduated from the small cleverness attached to the physical body, to use in the wisdom and ability to run the Earth realm, the Earth realm itself will naturally transform into a harmonious way of being.

People who think in terms of relying on outside power may be expecting a dramatic development, but both the gods of the Earth realm and we, Cosmic Humanity, wish for a development in which, when you look back later, you think, “Somehow things got better before I knew it,” and we guide things that way.

Because forcibly correcting how you are is not in accord with the heart of the universe.

When the resonance of your hearts is sending out a resonance close to the heart-waves of us and of the divine of Earth, inspiration from the worlds of the Deities of the universe appears as your own intuition.

It wells up as a good impulse that you can’t explain but can’t help acting on, and it is the power by which you yourselves move your hearts and bodies and actually change reality. (Continued next time)
