Graduating from the Misunderstandings Good People Easily Fall Into – 2

Let’s Open a Hole in the Small-Minded Good Person’s Temperament
We call that being a small-minded good person.
Small-minded good people tend to react against anything that doesn’t match their own way of doing things as a reflex, turn a critical eye on it, or become aggressive to protect themselves.
Some of you may recognize yourselves in this and some may not, but the more earnest a person is, the more easily their heart gets cramped.
But even if that’s you, there’s no problem.
Because the moment you came across this talk, a hole was already opened in that small-minded good person’s temperament, and all that remains is the time lag until it disappears.
You yourself are already riding the great current of the evolution of consciousness and walking straight along the path of dimensional ascension, so rather than digging up small faults like picking off a scab and making the wound worse, just live calmly and at ease.
If you look all over the surface of Earth with that kind of consciousness, everyone, each and every one, lives thinking, “This is the right way for me.”
Among them, some people can live in harmony with those around them, while others make enemies at every turn and keep clashing.
People who are especially earnest and hate anything crooked have that tendency.
In a world full of all kinds of people, earnest people do have the side of being a force that guides society in a good direction, but while that work may pile up as virtue in the hall of the heart, it can’t become a force that promotes that person’s own evolution of consciousness.

Let’s Master the Momentary Reflection
What promotes the evolution of consciousness is that person’s own resolve: “I’ll change myself,” “I’ll change,” “I’m going to change,” “I’ll show that I can change,” “I’ll take action to do it.”
Only when that forward-looking, strong resolve comes first can you take action to change yourself next, and as long as you do that, you actually change, little by little.
What matters at that time is not to fiddle endlessly with the qualities of yours that seem like faults or shortcomings, like picking at the corners of a lunch box.
Instead, being conscious of growing your strengths and good points, and expressing your thoughts, words, and deeds while adjusting them that way, is the shortcut to the evolution of consciousness.
Of course, a heart that reflects on itself is important.
But there’s no need to keep dwelling on it forever, “I was wrong, I was wrong, I was wrong….”
The heart that reflects exists to turn your consciousness around in an instant, “I was wrong. Okay, I’ll change,” and help you grow.
Doing that is exactly the driving force that leads to a bird’s-eye view.
Physical humans up to now have grabbed hold of memories and, on the contrary, been swallowed by them, blocking their own growth and evolution of consciousness, but that cycle is over now.
From now on, you can make full use of “the momentary reflection,” the driving force of the evolution of consciousness, and grow your soul.
No matter what negative habits of thought come to mind, don’t pick a quarrel with them and get tangled up; just see them off.
Because the most important thing for a human being is to stop being caught up in anything.
