What I Want You to Know If You Think Your Consciousness Isn’t Evolving

In this world, there are people, though not many, who live thinking, “I want to live by polishing and raising up my own character.”
On the other hand, there are people who chase only fleeting pleasures, or who think only about living an easy life.

If you look only at the physical surface of both kinds of people, apart from a very few, most of them seem to be walking a life that goes around in circles.
They get up in the morning, work, eat, and sleep.

As today repeats much the same as yesterday, they run into the same kinds of worries again and again.
From the outside, there doesn’t seem to be much difference between the two, right?

But people who live with their hearts set on the evolution of consciousness, even while they seem to be going round and round in the same place, are actually walking a life that climbs upward in a spiral.

If you look down at a spiral staircase from directly above, it only looks like it is tracing the same circle, but if you look at it from the side, even though there are parts that go down, in the end, with each turn, it is surely climbing up, one level at a time, higher and higher, right?
And as people climb the spiral of the evolution of consciousness like that, even when they meet events similar to those in the past, they become able to take them in differently than before, “with a heart that has room to spare.”

You, who are living with the aim of the evolution of consciousness, must not label yourself in a way that looks down on yourself, saying, “No, that’s not true,” or “I’m just going around in circles.”
Because the labels you stick on yourself work like weights on your ankles, binding your steps far more strongly than you think.

Even if you can’t notice that you are climbing, it doesn’t mean you aren’t climbing.
The tears you have shed until today, and the days when you wandered and wandered in confusion, all of them have been the driving force that has pushed you up toward the source of life.

What the surface consciousness should do is to connect with the depths of its own life, and to spend each day bringing out the infinite possibilities that life holds.
Nothing is more important than that.
There is nothing else to do.
Everything else is just a sideshow.

That said, there’s no need to do anything special.
Speaking kind words to the person in front of you, not lying to your own heart, ending the day with thoughts of gratitude: such small things, built up one after another, make your connection with the depths of life thicker and stronger.

Some people may think, “Nothing is more important than making money.”
But that is something thought by a mind that has limited itself to this world, in a state where it has handed over the authority of life to memory; it is not what “the person of light,” who is life itself, is thinking.

I’m not saying you don’t need money.
Money is a tool you need to live in this world.
But what I am saying is, “If you mistake the tool for the purpose, you will cloud the radiance of life.”

What matters is what you earn money for, and what you use it for.
This part is an important point, but few people really understand it.
That’s because there are still few people who can find the depth of life, the depth of the dimensions, within themselves.

But soon, the day will come when everyone understands from the bottom of their heart what we are saying.
Because soon, the time will come when civilization itself changes from its very foundation.
At that time, you will realize, “Ah, so that’s what that talk back then was about.”

Until then, you can just keep climbing your own spiral, one step at a time.
We are always beside you, watching over you.
Because the time will come when you realize that the path was not a path someone made you walk, but the trail you have walked of your own will, so that you could be you.
