To Become Truly Wise

★Let’s Close the Gap Between Truth and Expression

Until the day comes when your life-self and your physical self live as one, perfectly aligned, there will always be some gap between the facts and how you express them when you tell others what you’ve seen, heard, or touched, won’t there?

It’s easy to understand if we compare it to color. If the color of the truth at the source of life is a white light that unites all colors, then the color of truth that passes through the filter of your heart and body doesn’t always come out as that same color.

Why? Because each person’s filter of assumptions, like “it must be this way,” “it should be this way,” or “I want it to be this way,” tints it, and so a difference inevitably arises between the color of truth itself and the color you give off.

That’s why, when you listen to others, you need to keep this in mind, and when you speak to others, you need to spend your days polishing and deepening yourself, so that you can set your individual self aside as much as possible and give off the resonance of truth itself.

Because human beings are creatures with no finish line where they can say, “I’m fine enough now, I don’t need to become any better,” no matter how fine they become.

★Let Karma Grow Poor and Live Rich in the Light of Life

Even if you think to yourself, “I’m evolving in consciousness just the way I want to,” you must never neglect the effort to make yourself one with truth itself.

Always reflect on yourself humbly, and keep polishing your heart until it shines.

It is in the hearts of such people that the truth of the universe shines in full.

People who have buried seeds of carelessness or conceit in the soil of their hearts often don’t notice them growing underground, and by the time they notice, they’ve already made a mistake.

These are what you might call karma attached to the physical body, and once they take root in the soil of your thoughts, they sweep away your reason with tremendous force and try to control you through impulse.

At those times, people end up acting however they’re carried along, and in many cases, all that’s left is to regret it afterward, right?

Especially when it’s something they’ve convinced themselves is the truth, it’s even harder to notice, and it tends to take time to correct themselves.

That’s why it’s just right to keep your heart always humble, humble enough that people think, “That person is too modest.”

Let’s make the karma tied to the self poorer while making the light of life richer.

Because it’s people like that who can truly be called wise.
