The True Meaning of Men and Women Living Together, Seen from a Spiritual Perspective (3/7)

★To meet someone with whom you can have a marriage of the heart

This time, let’s focus on the being at the core that forms a family… the married couple.

Because this is an important relationship that can be called the most important point for the evolution of consciousness of Earth’s humanity.

All right?

One thing we’d like you to understand here is that the relationship between a man and a woman we’re expressing here as “a married couple” doesn’t necessarily mean the [marriage] defined in the laws and constitutions each of your countries has enacted.

What we look at as a “married couple” is whether their hearts are living while holding a true partnership.

So even a man and woman who aren’t joined in the form of marriage, if their hearts are firmly joined, we consider a married couple.

On the other hand, even a pair who are married in outward form and living as husband and wife, if their hearts have drifted apart, that can’t be called a true partnership between a man and a woman.

If you look widely across the Earth, you’ll see that there are really many couples who, though married in form, have become complete strangers at heart, with their feelings for each other gone cold.

In many cases, such people put on a calm show on the surface as if nothing were wrong, so when physical humans look at one another, each of them looks perfectly ordinary.

From a spiritual perspective, whether or not you’ve formally signed a marriage certificate and entered into a contract called marriage isn’t much of an issue at all.

And on the Earth today, there are also many people who have chosen to live alone in this life without a partner of the opposite sex, partly because they’ve carried over into this life feelings about married life or parent-child relationships in past lives, or attachments to religious practice.

Such people may, in the second half of this life… in the days ahead, meet the person of the opposite sex with whom they were meant to become one as yin and yang, prepared before they were born. Or there are also cases where they walk through life alone without that meeting ever coming for their whole life.

In the latter case, even if, because of their own thoughts that block the opposite sex, they couldn’t meet the person they were meant to meet in this life, they will surely someday meet someone with whom they can share the learning of a soul partnership, whether in the other world after leaving the physical body or in their next life when they are reborn.

That’s because the process in which a man and a woman become a pair, exchange spiritual and material vibrations, and become one is an essential path that the humanity existing throughout the universe can’t avoid.

You could call it “a scene of learning to master the basics of the creative activity of the universe,” in which you experience the making of the universe reflected in your own life. (To be continued)
