The True Meaning of Men and Women Living Together, Seen from a Spiritual Perspective (5/7)

★To evolve your partnership from a relationship of a pair into a relationship of oneness
In that respect, women, as long as the conditions are right, can have the real experience of carrying and forming new human beings in their bodies and giving birth to and raising them, so it can be said to be easier for them to become aware of the creative heart of the universe within them, the parent who gave birth to everything.
What we’d like you to be careful about here is that you can’t say that a home without children, because the wife’s body can’t bear children or because the husband’s sperm has an abnormality, isn’t fulfilling the role a person should.
This is an important point, so please don’t think of everything in stereotyped terms like “it has to be this way.”
Couples who haven’t been blessed with children have an important mission: to fulfill their individual missions by serving human society with the strength they would have used for bearing and raising children, and by each offering their mind and body to work for the completion of the Earth’s world.
Just because a man and woman become a married couple and don’t have children doesn’t make them an incomplete couple in the least, so please don’t misunderstand that.
Each person’s role, when you look at them individually, isn’t uniform at all.
In broad categories, you can say “it’s this and that,” but looking at them individually, there are really as many ways of being and living as there are people.
So when you hear a talk like this, don’t judge yourselves only by the broad categories we speak of. Ask the light of your own life about your own mission.
The answer always appears as your first intuition, so get out of your past habits of thought of agonizing and worrying, “Not this, not that,” and cultivate a state of mind that can catch your first intuition in an instant.

Now, as we mentioned at the beginning, let’s talk from a slightly different angle about a couple evolving their relationship from being a pair to being one.
“A pair” here means a form that hasn’t yet reached perfect harmony, while “one” means that, by melting their differences, each other’s strengths and weaknesses, what they’re good and bad at, blend together well, the rough edges of the humanity of the man and woman who love each other are smoothed away, they grow more mellow, and they evolve into more harmonious people.
As your humanity deepens, even without scheming to improve things on the surface, you can open up your life powerfully through the power of the soul that seeps out from within.
And without leaving things to others or running to pray to God for favors, you can create by your own strength the destiny you wish for, “This is how we want to be.”
What many people of Earth have done until now is to try to improve life on the surface while abandoning, or ignoring, the effort to bring harmony to their relationship.
In sports, that would be like trying to get good at a sport without learning the basics, and you can see why it’s hard to improve, right?
The same kind of thing is what many couples have done; that has been the general trend of married relationships until now.
But from now on, all the couples in the world will come to focus on bringing harmony to their relationships.
In some cases it will happen because they’ve awakened to the truth, and there’s also the side in which, through natural disasters, war, terrorism, and so on, they notice how precious each other’s existence is, cherish each other more than ever and live with consideration for each other, and in that way the harmony of yin and yang is achieved.
