The Purpose of Life
Published on Updated on
When you’re lit by sunlight, you see your shadow in the direction opposite the sun, right?
That’s exactly the true nature of the self-recognition you’ve been deciding and believing until now: “This is me,” “I’m this kind of person.”
Think about it carefully.
The shadow can’t possibly be you, can it?
And yet you mistook what’s real.
That’s exactly where the real reason lay that you couldn’t live as your true self.
To begin with, for a long time, you didn’t even try to know your real self.
You accepted limitation as natural.
If you were told you had a serious illness, you were convinced there was no more hope.
You thought unpleasant relationships could never be improved.
You didn’t try to leave the cave of resignation.
You mistook the darkness behind your closed eyelids for the real world.
You mistook phantom sounds heard through your covered ears for real sounds.
I’ll tell you something important.
Realize who you really are.
And simply live as that very thing.
That’s exactly the purpose of the lives you’ve repeated.
The destination reincarnation aims for is for each person to find their genuine self and express it in their own thoughts, words, and deeds.
You don’t need to want to gain powers superior to others’.
Even if you can see the unseen world, even if you can hear voices no one else can hear, that doesn’t complete your character.
Grasp the truth of life in your hands.
Just remember the true substance of life.
That exploring attitude of the heart, facing the truth head-on, is the very driving force for remembering the real you.

It’s obvious that even if you wait under a shelf for a rice cake to fall, you’ll never get it no matter how long you wait, right?
Ever since you began thinking, “I’m supposed to be more than this,” you’ve been doing something just like that.
No matter how much you arm yourself with theory and knowledge, a human being can’t become happy that way.
No matter how many methods you collect, if you’re merely satisfied with that, nothing changes.
If you truly want to change yourself, keep carrying out even a single act of truth without giving up.
In the present age, expressing the truth in action is the one and only path that leads human beings to real happiness.
The real you is the vibration of life itself, filling the universe.
You are the very power that gives birth to everything and nurtures it while renewing it.
The people of Earth call beings with that kind of power God or Buddha, but truly, that is your true substance.
Remembering that and showing it in the way you live is exactly what you should do.
Everything else is a bit like side entertainment.
The real you can never be violated by anything.
The real you can do anything you want to do.
The real you has the power to overcome any difficulty.
The real you can pour gratitude on any being.
The real you can embrace and love everything.
Because the universe itself is the true substance of your life.
