★The spirit of service essential to a civilization of the Deities

In reality, though, there won’t be a single person who doesn’t work.

That’s because living in a way that makes the most of yourself and serves the whole is the greatest joy of the people who live in a civilization of the Deities.

So everyone will take up some kind of occupation in order to make the most of themselves and serve the whole—and in that age, there will be no one anywhere in the world who works reluctantly.

That said, please don’t swing to an extreme and decide, “I’ll prepare for that future by cultivating a spirit of unpaid service right now—I don’t need a salary, I’ll work for free.”

People who already have that kind of disposition will blend into that society without confusion when the time comes. And people in whom that disposition hasn’t grown yet will notice, in the course of their daily lives, how important it is to work in a way that makes the most of their life. They will begin to think about how they can make the most of their own life, and they will naturally be led to cultivate the spirit of serving the whole.

Each guided by their own Higher Self.

So what does it mean to make the most of your life? It means thinking, speaking, and acting so that your work is useful in a broad and great way—to the whole star you live on, to the whole galaxy you belong to, to the whole great universe.

When you live like that, you can make better use of your life naturally, without forcing or overdoing things and without feeling stress.

The Earth of the future will be a world made up entirely of such people, so the people working in every industry of that world will work to serve the peace of the whole Earth and the development of each region.

In that age, the way land and housing are handled will also change completely.

When the money economy no longer works and everyone understands that each of us is living by borrowing a part of Mother Earth’s body, worries about food, clothing, and shelter will disappear.

That’s because everything will be available as it is needed. And by then the people living on Earth will all be people who know their proper place, so no problems will arise from this.

Imagine an age in which clothing, household goods, and every other necessity of life, as well as everything you eat and drink, can all be obtained in the amount you need without any inconvenience, according to the stature of your soul.

Then the “meaning of work” we talked about earlier will look completely different, won’t it?

That’s because motivation toward the development of the whole star and the whole universe will be maintained or even raised without any worry. And spiritualizing people’s consciousness to that point is precisely the urgent task facing the Earth world right now.

Coming back to land: once everyone understands that “the land doesn’t belong to anyone—it is the body of the planet, and we are only temporarily borrowing a part of it for as long as we are registered on this star,” individuals will no longer want more land than they need. So there will be no fighting over it, and no shortage of land either.

Then the way the political and administrative bodies that manage land operate will also change greatly. Land will be distributed fairly, and bribes will no longer work the way they have until now.

In the first place, people who would go so far as to pay bribes to get their own way will have disappeared from the face of the Earth.

Oh, and education will change greatly too.

Because service to the whole universe will be taught from a young age as the meaning of life, children won’t have to go to several cram schools at once, and there will be no fierce exam competition or struggle for survival about getting into a good university and then a good company.

From an early age, children’s hopes about what they want to do will be given top priority. They will study their own specialized fields according to their aptitudes, and at the same time receive a comprehensive education about life. So without being swayed by their parents’ circumstances, every one of them can grow up freely and healthily.

When the age comes in which each person lives by using their own life energy—as we keep saying—each person can freely obtain whatever they need, as much as they need.

But according to each person’s spiritual and divine character. (To be continued next time)
