The Outside Is the Inside, and the Inside Is the Outside (1/8)

Published on Updated on

★Defining “the outside is the inside, and the inside is the outside”

In most cases, the people of Earth think the visible world is all there is, and almost none of them acknowledge that any other world is real.

So even if we talk about “outside” and “inside,” most people would think, “What on earth is that about?”

Even in such a climate, many of you who aim for the evolution of consciousness vaguely understand it, something like, “Isn’t the outside the world you can see and feel with the five senses, and the inside the world of dimensional depth within the heart?”

But even so, it still seems somehow vague, and many people seem to stay with a hazy understanding, feeling like they get it but don’t, don’t get it but do. So today let’s give a talk that will help clear the haze from that understanding.

First, let’s define “the outside is the inside, and the inside is the outside.” Roughly divided, it goes like this.

  1. Perception turned outward through the five senses (the physical world) and perception turned inward into the heart: perception of the various dimensional, layered worlds that unfold behind the surface consciousness
  2. The world outside the body (the world visible to the naked eye) and the world inside the body: the interior of the human body made up of bones, muscles, and the various cells of the body (simply, the phenomena unfolding outside and inside the physical body)

Do you follow?

If not, please read on, putting it into words that are easier for you to understand.

To classify these in a word, they are the “outside and inside” of subjective perception, and the “outside and inside” of objective phenomena.

The “outside and inside” of subjective perception is what a person senses through the five senses of the surface consciousness. It’s a classification in which whether or not you perceive something carries more weight than the facts themselves.

An easy example is people who just can’t find what they’re looking for, right?

Things that make people around them think, “It’s right there, why doesn’t this person notice?” For example, having your glasses perched on your head while going, “My glasses, my glasses, where are my glasses?”

In such cases, the person’s thoughts can’t perceive something that’s actually there, so for that person it’s as good as not being there, and only when they notice it “is there” can they finally recognize, “Oh, there it is!”

Objective phenomena, on the other hand, are objective facts that certainly exist as phenomena whatever human beings may or may not think. They are all things in creation that are actually there, regardless of whether a person has a narrowed field of consciousness made of assumptions and beliefs, or how narrow it is.
