Raising the Dimension of Imagination (Part 1)

★What you can imagine, you can make real

Words of truth don’t exist only in higher worlds.

If you look around the Earth, you can see words of truth that those who came before have already brought down, all over the world.

For example, there’s a good word of truth known mainly in America: “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it.”

The kotodama contained in this sentence goes beyond the realm of a mere proverb—it truly makes the power of the creation of the universe manifest in human beings.

So if you put the words written there into practice, the original creative power of life is set in motion in anyone, and they can give form to what they imagined.

In creating the destiny of your life, the crux is what your consciousness recognizes (images, imagines, thinks).

Without a single exception, people build their lives with the words they bring to mind.

An individual’s relationships and the state of their heart and body—and, more broadly, the living environment of groups, the social conditions of nations and peoples, and even the state of the whole world—are created by the collective average of the recognition of each and every person in humanity.

If individual recognitions, one person after another, are renewed into recognitions rooted in divine consciousness, that will not only improve each person’s own destiny, of course, but will lead the destinies of all kinds of groups, nations, and peoples in a good direction, becoming the driving force that changes the way the world is from the ground up.

★The angle and dimension of consciousness matter

What kind of world do you picture day to day?

Imagine it.

All right, let’s change the question.

What kind of world do you usually recognize the world we live in to be?

If you have an image like “a world in the process of moving toward infinite completion” or “a world achieving infinite evolution and improvement,” your imagination has already risen in dimension.

On the other hand, if you hold an image of recognition caught by the “imperfect, constrained, absurd, unequal, unsound, unhealthy phenomena” that can be seen on the surface of the world, your consciousness may still be staying within the frame of an old, limited consciousness.

And whatever each person may think, there is a reality that can’t be taken lightly.

That is truth.

The American word of truth we introduced at the beginning (“If you can imagine it, you can achieve it.”) is exactly an unshakable fact, and proof that people create their own worlds through consciousness.

What becomes important here is how you use consciousness.

Think about it and you’ll see.

When you tackle something thinking, “It’s bound to be impossible,” it’s hard to picture a concrete final form, isn’t it?

On the other hand, when you see something positively and optimistically and tackle it, a concrete image comes to mind easily, so you can make a detailed plan to give it form and carry it out steadily, and thereby make your image real, can’t you?

The point is consciousness.

What your consciousness thinks.

In which direction (at what angle) you send out your consciousness.

How you use the energy of consciousness.

The way you use consciousness is exactly what sorts people’s destinies into worlds as different as heaven and earth.

And what becomes important here is the dimension of consciousness.

As long as you leave your self-consciousness in its present state of thought and only send out thoughts aimed at making an image real, however good the thing you can picture, it’s nothing more than a kind of will-power, so it can’t escape the ups and downs of dualistic opposition (the way of the world, where things rise and fall).
