Let’s Graduate from the Gap Between Despair and Hope

Earth becoming a harmonious star and each person’s evolution of consciousness are linked.
You are already clearly aware of that.

With that awareness, look out over the world.
At first glance, human society may seem, as always, to be full of selfish will-powers rubbing against and clashing with one another.
Looked at as objective fact, the water, the air, and the land are damaged and exhausted.
All living things are being cornered more each year, and endangered species keep increasing.

Look, you can see it, can’t you?
The figures of people who, whenever they see such conditions, can’t sit still, look up to heaven, join their hands, and earnestly beg God or the Buddha to improve things…

But sometimes it seems that just wishing doesn’t easily change the situation.
In fact, it can even look as if things are only getting worse.
That’s where a breeding ground forms for materialism, atheism, and the belief that human nature is evil to spread.

In such a world, there are people who, in their despair, become reckless and end up hurting themselves or others.
Some of you watch the daily news and feel your hearts ache, right?
Sad events happen in which people hurt themselves or hurt others.

But human beings originally have the strength to overcome any difficulty.
That’s why, whatever situation you’re in, you must never give up hope.
Why do you think that is?

It’s because humanity holds, at the bottom of its life, the great will of the universe itself that creates and runs the universe.
You could say it’s like each individual ray of light that comes forth from the sun.
Humanity, without a single exception, is the children of the universe.

Just as a chrysalis, the child of a butterfly, becomes a butterfly and flutters gracefully through the sky when the time comes, the hearts of Earth’s humanity, now in confusion, will also, once they reach the time of metamorphosis (*1), become pollinators that help plants pollinate, and the time will come when their way of living plays an important role in the ecosystem. (*1: changing form in the course of an animal’s growth)

Every human being, whoever they are, has a nature called divinity.
It is the power that gives birth to everything and nurtures it.
Only humanity has the wisdom to create a world in which nature, all living things, and humanity are in great harmony.

And yet many people forget that fact and become servile, but that’s because they had forgotten the truth of life we just described.
But you have remembered that fact.
Having remembered it, there’s no going back.

Here, let’s review the essence of prayer once more.
A heart that tries to carry its wishes to heaven is precious too, but on top of that, true prayer is the power to vividly set the force of life in motion and shape your own destiny into a bright one.

As such people increase, Earth will gradually breathe new life.

Everyone has infinite wisdom and abilities within themselves.
How to draw them out and set them in motion
depends first and foremost on how you yourself live.
