Let’s Establish Peace of Heart (Part 1)

★To Establish Peace of Heart
Before anything else, strive to establish peace in your own heart.
In short, live without worrying about appearances.
Being caught up in things like saving face, your own convenience, assumptions, fixations, attachments, or creeds, and spending your heart on criticizing others, is such a waste.
Now is the time to realize from the bottom of your heart that nothing is more of a waste than handing over the authority of life to the ego-thoughts stuck fast to the physical body, “me, me, me, me,” and clouding the healthy resonance of the light of life.
If you don’t make your life shine now, when will you?
Putting off the time of your evolution of consciousness, “someday, eventually,” to shield the ego is damaging the growth of your own heart and body.
It’s about time you noticed that.
Facing the karma you’ve made over many past lives up to today may be so painful you want to look away, but it’s a road you can’t avoid if you’re to remember the real truth and say, “Ah, I see.”

★How to Walk a Bad Road
Speaking of roads, we’ve talked about how life is like walking along a road, right?
When you can’t move forward without passing through a muddy road, stamping your feet in front of it because you don’t want to get dirty, crouching down, or throwing a tantrum and rolling around is, well, understandable for an infant soul, but not something for young souls like you, who are aiming for the evolution of consciousness.
That’s what we meant at the start when we said, “Live without worrying about appearances.”
If you are truly a grown-up soul, when you come upon such a bad road, make up your mind, and boldly walk through that muddy road with your chest out.
You don’t need to think at all about what people will think of you, so keep that in mind.
In general, other people don’t think about you nearly as deeply as you think.
Everyone is fully occupied with themselves.
Even people who are always blaming others for this and that or dragging them down, if you look closely, only seem to be bothering about others; in fact, they’re only living in a way that soils and hurts themselves.
The real work of your life is, through polishing and raising yourself, to light the light of life deep in the hearts of such people.
There’s no need to say this and that with your mouth.
Just show it through your actions.
Then the people of Earth, with every kind of thought-nature, will remember the truth of life deep in their hearts and become able to correct their own course.
So that brings us to our usual talk: before anything else, establishing peace in your own heart is what matters most. (To be continued)
