★What True Dignity Is
You seem to look at people and say whether they have grace or not. But if someone asked you, “What is true dignity?” do you have enough understanding to answer, “It’s such-and-such”?
True dignity is the state in which divinity is resounding.
However refined your manners, however elegant your speech, however stylishly you dress, that alone can’t be called dignity.
True dignity connects to divine character. So however much you polish the surface, you only look refined; it can’t be called a state in which the stature of the soul appears.
If you wish to make dignity your own, polish your heart and aim for the evolution of consciousness.
In the process of conscious evolution, a person’s physical character and astral character step up to spiritual character and divine character, and in time they can make true dignity their own.
★How to Polish Out Your Dignity
For that, it’s important to look at everything, embracing it with a heart of tender affection, and to express that heart in your thoughts, words, and deeds.
A simple way to do that is to make deep breathing your constant breathing and spend your days always praying for the harmony of the whole.
As you keep that up, before you know it the heart of your Higher Self comes to the surface, and anyone can become a person of dignity without realizing it.
When consciousness is at an ordinary level, people think only of their own happiness and that of those close to them, and can’t think of the happiness of people or organizations whose interests conflict with theirs.
But even people whose worldly interests conflict with yours, even people who seem to have no connection with you at all, all, all of them are divine in essence. Without a single exception, everyone is originally divine humanity.
Helping them remember that naturally is your essential work, and for that, it’s important to use your life consciously, always keeping a prayerful heart at the foundation of all your thoughts, words, and deeds.
For however chaotic the surface present may seem, the dawn of Earth is already just around the corner.
