And you could also say it’s the very best shortcut to making an altruistic heart standard equipment.

If, on that point, you’re swept along by discriminating thoughts based on your own convenience, saying things like “I can be grateful to this person, but not to that person,” you’re in a state stuck fast to habits of thought that aren’t in great harmony.

People who have truly, genuinely come to have an altruistic heart live in a state in which, whoever the other person is, they see that person as someone to serve, and gratitude seeps out of them, right?

A state of showing gratitude or not depending on the person can be said to be giving up on living the true now.

The people who have obtained a ticket to live in the coming new civilization, the society of divinity, are all people who have practiced holding gratitude toward everyone without discriminating according to who they are.

At first, all of them too showed inner conflict in their hearts.

But as they practiced saying the words “Thank you so much” out loud, making their vocal cords vibrate, without making distinctions, gratitude as big as the universe came overflowing from the bottom of their hearts, from the depths of their lives, and they became people capable of true gratitude.

That’s why it’s said that “gratitude is light.”

People who have grown familiar with light will settle light into their own hearts and bodies, and before long, fulfill their proper role as “a single ray of the light of life of the Great Life of the universe.”

It’s just like paper clips or rusty nails stuck to a magnet coming to have magnetism themselves and fulfilling the role of a magnet. Small as they may be.

A heart without front or back that aims for great harmony may not become standard equipment overnight, but if you don’t give up and keep practicing steadily, it will surely become your normal.

Now that Earth has become this spiritualized, the results of such practice bear fruit quickly.

People who make up their minds and resolve to do this carefully for the rest of their lives will surely see results within a few months at the latest.
