★Graduating from Shifting Blame and Depending on Others
This doesn’t apply to little children, but if you are a grown adult who, in name and in fact, supports yourself, it’s about time to clearly recognize the fact that “the only thing that can interfere with my destiny is my own thoughts.”
As long as you haven’t yet noticed that the one creating your destiny is none other than yourself, it’s hard to break out of the habit of blaming others.
And behind that shifting of blame lies a habit of depending on others, which hinders, as much as it possibly can, the independence of the soul rooted in that person’s divinity.
Why are shifting blame and depending on others two sides of the same coin? Because when your consciousness is in a state of depending on others, it’s fine while everything goes well, but when things don’t go as you want, people tend to end up blaming others for it.
By now it’s clear that this is simply a fact, isn’t it?
And if you stay in that kind of mindset, you may sometimes end up behaving in ways that aren’t truly like yourself.
If you look around you and at the world, that happens every day, right?
It’s about time to graduate from that kind of repetition.

★Let’s Live the Subtle, All-Penetrating Heart That Knows Everything
For that, make the subtle, all-penetrating heart your own.
Simply put, the subtle, all-penetrating heart is a heart living a divinity that is well versed in every truth.
What’s important there is that the thing to focus your consciousness on is not “the reality outside the body,” but how you, having touched it with your five senses, took it in and felt it.
That’s why at the start of this talk we said, “At all times, it’s important to discern whether your own heart is genuine or false, and always strive to live the essence of life.”
Rather than evaluating only outside things, like who did what or what did this or that, what matters is looking at the movements outside that reflect what’s inside, and looking at what you felt about them.
Please realize the fact that it was precisely because you didn’t understand this that you were living with things backwards.
If the word “backwards” doesn’t make it clear, you can think of it as having lived upside down, having looked at the world while standing on your head.
People who carefully look at the state of their consciousness in this way and polish themselves into truth itself will surely come to the day when they are well versed in everything.
Because every appearance has come forth from the one great source, and not a single thing is separate. (The End)
