How to Grasp Truth (Part 2)

★The importance of laying a firm foundation

Imagine learning something you’ve never done before.

If you interpret things however you like, or neglect the basics and fundamentals, there’s no way you can do the applied parts, right?

Even if only you think you’re doing it, someone who understands the principles may see that you’re making a complete mess of it.

For example, reading and writing and how to use words.

At first you start with how to read and write the basic phonetic letters, and then learn simple characters, right?

But partway through, people rely on modern conveniences and stop laying the foundation.

These days you can look up and type words on a smartphone, so there are older people who can read but can’t write, and young people who haven’t really learned to read and write or to express themselves, right?

Just as you can’t use words well when the basics are neglected, with the truths about ascension and the evolution of consciousness too, unless you firmly acquire the basics and fundamentals, there’s no way you can do the applied parts.

What do you think is the very first thing you must know and acquire to achieve the evolution of consciousness?

For those who’ve been reading our talks from the start, it’s probably too easy a question, but unless you lay a firm foundation from here, living with self-interest dissolved into the universe is a dream within a dream.

It’s knowing the truth of life, the reality of life.

What are we living for?

Why were we born?

After living this life to the full, where on earth does life go?

Face these basic questions of life seriously. It’s fine to study by following someone, but in the end it’s important to draw the answers out from deep within your own heart and grow them into your own natural recognition.

If you only take what others teach you just as it is, you may get lost somewhere, or find it hard to notice your own progress.

★Let’s know that everything is a manifestation of yourself

There are many important things, but what we’d like you to remember here is that the world you see and hear is a projection of what’s in the universe of your own heart.

People you like and people you dislike, people who teach and guide you and spiteful people who try to drag you down—all of them are yourself.

So what you read in books or learn from others, too, it’s good to take all of it into yourself once, and then express it as your own thoughts and words, as a resonance you send out spontaneously yourself.

Only by taking that step does the knowledge you’ve taken in, and others’ wisdom, become your own.

But most people are satisfied with just taking things in and don’t sincerely put them out.

As for the “questions of life” we just talked about, if you read this blog from cover to cover, all the essential basics are written there.

But if you stop at just reading, it won’t become your own.

What you’ve taken in through your physical eyes, you then put out directly from deep within your own life and express in your mind and body—that’s what matters.

That is the correct way of grasping truth, and the secret to making it your own.

For now, focus on that and quietly put it into practice.

Because one day, your state of mind will suddenly open, and the time will come when you understand many things you didn’t before. (The End)
