Day by Day, Thing by Thing (1)

★Being Careful with Your Words
Don’t carelessly talk about things that others would find hard to believe.
Most people interested in spiritualism like that kind of talk, so they tend to push it on others, whether or not the other person is interested in the same things.
Even if you don’t feel you’re pushing it, if the other person takes it that way, then you are pushing it, so you need to be careful.
Besides, something that’s a wonderful story to you may be an outlandish story to someone else, so talking about mysterious things to anyone and everyone isn’t something to be admired.
★Wishes Coming True
If it’s something you truly need, it will surely be fulfilled, with the condition “as long as you live with divine consciousness at the forefront,” so you can be at ease.
People who value faith tend to confuse prayer with making wishes, so they tend to cling to whether things come true or not. But life, when you look at it with the ego removed, is always being carried in a good direction.
But the physical consciousness can’t understand that.
Because its standard of judgment is steeped deep in the satisfaction and fulfillment of the ego.
★Measuring How Your Consciousness Is Evolving
When things turn out in what seems to be a reality different from what you wished for, how do you take it and how do you see it?
That’s exactly where the barometer for measuring your own evolution of consciousness is built in.
Those who find it and can take things in a good way can control the ego that had been ruling the self as if it owned the place, and lead everything in a creative and productive direction.

★Using Your Consciousness Well
The knack of using your consciousness well is to clearly discern and tell apart the self that is love itself overflowing from the essence of life, and the self that clings to the physical body and likes or dislikes according to its own convenience.
Many people think that they are the physical body itself, an imperfect being.
But to us, that’s a very flat, one-dimensional self-awareness.
Human beings have many kinds of consciousness in different dimensions.
We put it simply as spirit-body consciousness and divine-body consciousness, but if you dig deeper into the self you think of as yourself, there is a great, great self.
Knowing that, if you can tell apart the thoughts clinging to the physical body from the deeper consciousness, your evolution of consciousness will develop dramatically.
★Loving
The act of loving is an act of giving and giving, so much that it aches.
At first, that is.
What does that mean? Once words and actions that are true love itself become second nature, you no longer act for your own convenience, so the aching disappears completely.
Everything is only gratitude and tender compassion.
When you’ve become like that, your heart has become an unshakable member of divine humanity.
So you can have confidence.
