Awaken Your Own Truth (Part 1)

★The importance of knowing the truth of life and the meaning of life as you live

When you were a child, you used to wonder on your own, even without understanding, “Why was I born? Why are people born?”, didn’t you?

Well, during your rebellious years you also said things like, “Why did you have me?” and made your parents sad, but eventually, when your heart settled down again, you went back to the world of spiritual contemplation.

That kind of philosophical contemplation about life… questions like “Why are people born?” and “What are people born for?” are things that, in the Earth’s world today, neither parents nor the adults around you teach, and that aren’t taught at school either.

The answer to this question is something that even many of those who came before have lived without having a clear answer to, and yet it’s an essential signpost for a person to grow into a decent adult, to understand clearly the reason of the human world, and to live a life without confusion.

What do you think happens when a person grows up without working out the answer (the signpost) to that simple question?

That’s right.

You may see the answer if you look widely at the adults around you.

In the Earth’s world today, in most cases, apart from people who are supported by someone, you can’t live without working, so people do have some kind of job. But if you set aside their efforts toward self-realization as working people, many are living just as the instincts of the physical body direct them.

Looking across the whole Earth, only a very, very small number of people who aim for a spiritual way of living are trying to reflect the heart of God and Buddha in their own hearts, while many others haven’t yet turned their consciousness that far.

That’s why, in the world until now, in most cases the only place for self-improvement was through one’s job.

Because many people hadn’t yet turned their consciousness to polishing their character outside of work.

Even in the setting of work, some people live with their main focus on how to get by as easily as possible, or how they can fulfill their own desires.

People like you, who throw your self-interest into “the light of life” and live aiming for the evolution of consciousness, making unceasing efforts to polish and raise yourselves around the clock, praying that all of humanity will revive its divinity, and offering unceasing gratitude to heaven and earth and all things: actually, such people are a very, very rare species, even if you search the whole world.

Since you yourselves are the ones concerned, you may not feel that you are still a rare species, few in number. (To be continued)
