A Relationship with the Other Half of Your Soul Is a Bond of Love and Gratitude (Part 1)

★Relationships between men and women when caught in the idea of dualistic opposition

When a man and a woman who haven’t fully escaped the idea of dualistic opposition try to fulfill a partnership of the soul, unfortunately, in most cases it ends in failure.

What does that mean? It means they reach a physical parting (the end of the relationship or separation by death) before they could melt away their resentments.

Because their consciousness lives in the idea of dualistic opposition and they cannot wipe away their various emotional thoughts, when they feel “the other person won’t do as I want,” karmic thoughts, words, and deeds rooted in those emotions raise their heads, and they send out thoughts, words, and deeds that hurt themselves and others. Many people remain unaware of it.

It’s the same as the way nations on Earth leave space debris floating in outer space.

To go back to one couple: for example, even when a romantic entanglement leads to a sad incident, from the standpoint of the truth, there’s an aspect in which feelings that had built up between the two came to the surface. Of course, this is not meant to blame the person who was hurt.

If there were a physical litmus paper of destiny that could check, before men and women on Earth began to associate or date, whether that pairing might lead to an unhappy ending, then the possibility of an incident caused by too much love would turn red paper blue, and the possibility of an incident caused by love turning to hatred would turn blue paper red, so they could avoid choosing such a relationship beforehand. But in the physical world as it is, driven by a momentary blaze of emotion or by runaway desires wanting a union for personal gain, people choose of their own will pairings that can’t fulfill a true partnership between a man and a woman.

As long as physical men and women think “a human being is the physical body itself,” many of them agonize within relationships they chose themselves that can’t become one, and can’t easily graduate from painful bonds.

That’s why we say, “Developing your divinity comes first.”

People who don’t understand this are always having their thoughts jerked around by their relationships with the opposite sex, and find it hard to have moments when their hearts are at peace.

That’s why we say it’s important to guide yourself so that your consciousness is always in the divine realm.

As long as you live that way, your Guardian Spirits on both sides will set up the bond with the person of the opposite sex who is the other half of your soul, and when you meet that person, they’ll let you know by stirring up an indescribable feeling of peace. (To be continued)
